Crafting is taking simple materials, slapping them together with crazy, fun, and often messy techniques, creating something unique and wonderful.  

If you think about it, this describes many types of art.  That means that crafting doesn't have to be your basic paper, scissors and glue "arts and crafts" project (although you can do many, many things with those three items).  No, crafting can be anything from cooking and baking to scrap booking and card making; even busting out the carpentry tools and building a bookshelf counts!  

I'm still new to this whole crafting business.  I'm still learning the tricks of the trade, through attempt after attempt, through satisfying successes and miserable flops.  I made this blog to share those attempts, so others can see the ins and outs of learning to craft.

So come on in!  Ride along with me as I learn how to stamp, bake, sew, and try any other craft I decide to tackle!
