Simply Snowflake Secret Santa

I really, really, really loved this November's Paper Pumpkin!  My box hadn't come by the time the tutorial video came out, so I was dying to get my hands on the kit after I watched it.  I happened to have a "Secret Santa" gift I wanted to wrap nicely, and alternate ways to use the kit were flowing through my mind.

When I saw the snowflakes, I knew they would make nice present-toppers.  I also stamped the snowflake stamp on the brown wrapping paper, and added some of the white-and-silver butcher's twine around it.  For a extra touch, I punched out a white circle and wrote a greeting with a silver pen, attaching it to the present with a glue dot and the washi tape.

Here's a better view of the twine and stamped paper.  I would've shown you the circle gift tag but, me being me, I wrote the present receiver's name on it, and took the pictures (which I meant to post earlier) before I gave it to him as his Secret Santa.  Whoops.

I'm sorry for this (very) late post; I mean, a late November/early December post in the middle of January?  The holiday season was rather hectic with all our family visiting, and the pictures were forgotten on my computer until after New Year's.

New Year's Resolution #2 (behind getting out of bed when my alarm goes off): Maintain this blog!
